She's a big one...over 370 miles across (the eye alone is over 30 miles across). One of the biggest to hit the Gulf Coast ever. My poor coast is only about 50 miles long...we don't need to be hit...

I haven't been outside today, but I expect we'll have clouds rolling in soon. We should get wind and rains on Tuesday - probably a Category 1 or Tropical Storm by then. Meanwhile, I'm worried about...

We're getting a lot of rain and wind now. We're hundreds of miles inland, but northeast of the hurricane, which is a bad place to be. It goes counter-clockwise, so the south half is picking up water...

Lost power and cable last night. Got the power back at three in the morning, but I just got the cable back a little while ago. Some of the schools are starting late, and some are closed altogether....

Just spoke to my mother. They lost the roof to the gymnasium at my old high school, so school's closed there today. Well, they know where it is...it's just not on the building anymore. *HUGS*...
